Kenzey Decker made her first career start alongside sophomore DePauw transfer
Sarah Isaf, both of which made immediate impacts with a combined 28 points and 8 assists from the newcomers. Moraine Valley (0-1) struggled against the Parkland defense, shooting just 28% from the field and 15% from deep. Returning All-American
Naomi McDaniel added another impressive performance to her career, totaling 14 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks. Parkland showed some growing pains in their first game of the season, coughing up 29 turnovers and shooting only 69% from the free throw line, but it didn't matter in the end as the Cobras start the season with a strong 91-50 win.
