The Cobras (2-0) were locked in a defensive battle early on. Neither team could put together a good offensive stretch, and the Braves (0-2) led 8-6 after the first quarter. Shots started to fall in the second quarter, however, especially for Parkland who went 11-14 from the field to take a 31-27 lead into halftime.The Cobras played great defense, led by
Mady Harper with 6 steals, and shot the ball well from the free throw line in the second half (11-15) to secure the 67-48 victory.
