Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland women's basketball team wrapped up the weekend with a second win in the Parkland North vs. South Challenge, beating Black Hawk College-Moline 67-48 on Saturday morning. Sophomore DePauw transfer Sarah Isaf led the way with 16 points (4-6 3PT) for the sixth-ranked Cobras as they go 2-0 on the weekend.
 
The Cobras (2-0) were locked in a defensive battle early on. Neither team could put together a good offensive stretch, and the Braves (0-2) led 8-6 after the first quarter. Shots started to fall in the second quarter, however, especially for Parkland who went 11-14 from the field to take a 31-27 lead into halftime.The Cobras played great defense, led by Mady Harper with 6 steals, and shot the ball well from the free throw line in the second half (11-15) to secure the 67-48 victory.

Up next, Parkland hits the road for the first time this season. The Cobras will play Kirkwood Community College on Friday, November 12 in the ICC Cougar Classic. The game will be played in the Lorene Ramsey Gymnasium in East Peoria, IL and is scheduled to tip off at 5:30 PM.
