Â
The Cobras (6-2) struggled early but were able to take control late in the second half, in large part thanks to the bench; Parkland finished with 36 bench points. The Cobras had a balanced attack on Wednesday night, with eight different players scoring seven or more points. But it was the defense that bothered the Eagles (1-11) the most. 37 points is the lowest-scoring performance by IVCC since their first game of the season, a 70-28 loss to No. 14 Morton College. Five different Cobras grabbed two or more steals in the 81-37 win.
Mady Harper (7 ponts, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, 3 steals) had a stat-stuffing night, leading the team in rebounds, assists, and steals.
