The Cobras (14-3) jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter, in large part thanks to their free throw shooting. Parkland went 9-9 from the line in the first and led 21-11 at the first break. Both teams fell cold in the second quarter, with neither team scoring in the first 3:19. The Blazers (7-12) closed out the half on a 6-2 run to cut the Parkland lead to nine, as the Cobras went into halftime up 30-21. The Cobras outscored the Blazers in the paint 16-8 in the first half. Both teams traded buckets in the third quarter, with neither team really pulling away, but the Blazers held the Cobras scoreless for the final 2:45 of the third quarter and ended the quarter on a 9-0 run, cutting the Cobras lead to 49-42. Parkland went on a quick 10-2 run to start the fourth quarter, eventually stretching their lead out to 19 with 3:40 remaining in the game. It wasn't close at the end as the Cobras secured the 70-54 victory for their third conference win.
