Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland women's basketball team won at home on Tuesday afternoon, beating Kankakee Community College 97-57. This was the Cobras' first game since December 11, 2021. Sarah Isaf led all scorers with 23 points and Mady Harper had a star performance, recording a triple-double (14 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists) in the 40-point victory.
 
The Cobras (10-2) were playing in their first game in 24 days, and it showed early on. Neither team could take control of the game until Parkland went on an 8-0 run in the final 3:27 of the first quarter to hold a 20-13 lead at the first break. The Cavaliers (6-7) got on the board first in the second quarter, but most of the period belonged to the Cobras; outscoring their opponent 22-10 and leading 42-23 at halftime. Parkland kept their distance in the third quarter, in large part thanks to Sarah Isaf, who scored 11 straight points for the Cobras at one point. Kankakee Community College's Destiny Goodwin hit a last-second three-pointer to cut the Parkland lead to 65-42 after three quarters, but it was once again all Cobras in the fourth as Parkland picks up its 4th win at home this season. Returning All-American Naomi McDaniel (11 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals) had a double-double in just 11 minutes off the bench and the 97-57 win makes it seven wins a row for Parkland.
