Box Score DANVILLE, Ill. – The Parkland women's basketball team held Danville Area Community College without a basket for the first 19 minutes of the first half on their way to a 47-point, 58-11 win in Danville on Monday night. The Cobras forced 29 turnovers and held the Jaguars to just 9% FG shooting and 0-19 from three.
Shaelynn Bell (12 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks) led all scorers, outscoring DACC all by herself in Parkland's largest victory of the season. The Cobras have won ten straight games on the road.

Allie Lindemann said after the game. "We were able to take away their strengths and did an outstanding job on the boards. We were focused, disciplined, and responded exactly how we wanted to."
The Cobras (17-4) (6-2) were looking for revenge, having lost to the Jaguars (9-12) (3-5) at home just five days ago. Parkland started off strong, leading 14-1 after the first, and never let up.
Parkland held a 33-4 lead at halftime as the Cobras put together their best defensive performance of the season, never allowing the Jaguars to score more than five points in a quarter.
The Cobras led 51-6 at the end of the third quarter and coasted to the 58-11 victory. The game was never close even though the Cobras scored the least number of points since a November 17th 56-55 loss to Olney Central College.
Naomi McDaniel (11 points, 17 rebounds) picked up another double-double in the win.
