Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Parkland women's basketball team fell just short on Saturday afternoon, losing 58-56 to the Illinois Central College on Sophomore Day. The Cobras (17-6) (6-4) outscored the Cougars (19-9) (7-3) by seven points in the fourth quarter but it wasn't enough to come back as Parkland drops their second straight game. Naomi McDaniel (14 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists) and Shaelynn Bell (14 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks) led all scorers in the loss.
