Box Score KANKAKEE, Ill. – The Parkland College women's soccer team won their third game of the season on Wednesday, August 31st, as the Cobras defeated the Cavaliers of Kankakee Community College 7-1. Forward Faith Nieburgge opened the scoring in the 4th minute and freshmen
Athenais Ouairy recorded a first-half brace to give the Cobras a 3-0 lead at halftime. The dynamic duo continued to impress in the second half as Nieburgge scored two more to record her nation-leading third hat trick of the season and Ouairy finished off a hat trick of her own with a goal in the 63rd minute. Emma Obert scored her first career goal in the 74th as Parkland (3-0) took care of the Cavaliers 7-1 in the Cobras' first road win of the 2022 season. Freshman goalkeeper
Shiann Haymaker made the start, producing two saves in the opening half, before freshman
Hannah Null came on in the second half, recording three saves in the win.
