Box Score QUINCY, Ill. – The No. 14 Parkland College women's soccer team defeated conference opponent John Wood Community College 6-0 in a hard-fought game on Saturday afternoon, giving the Cobras their second conference win of the season. Freshman
Rainee Brito gave Parkland the lead late in the first half and the Cobras' offense caught fire as the game wore on, giving the team its largest victory since August 31st. Freshman goalkeeper
Hannah Null made five saves in the second half of the win.

The Cobras (6-2-0) battled back-and-forth with the Blazers (0-10) in the first half as both teams struggled to score until Brito received a pass from
Athenais Ouairy and buried the shot in the 43rd minute to put Parkland on top 1-0 going into halftime. The Cobras didn't take as long to find the back of the net in the second half, as
Faith Niebrugge converted in the 54th before
Lauren Schnepper gave the Cobras a 3-0 lead just two minutes later. Ouiary added her name to the score sheet in the 63rd and freshman
Macy Wirtz extended the Parkland lead in the 65th with her first goal of the season. The nation's leading scorer,
Faith Niebrugge added one more for the Cobras in the 71st and Parkland left Quincy with a resounding 6-0 victory.
