"The team played well today," head coach Dan Vogelsang said after the loss. "We had some opportunities but just couldn't capitalize on them."

Vogelsang mentioned Maria Portas' "outstanding performance in the midfield" following the game, saying, "Her hustle was outstanding, and she helped direct the midfield with our new play style. She was physical, which made it difficult for the other team to move the ball around her. I'm extremely happy with how she played today."
