METAMORA, Ill. — September 9, 2025— The Parkland College men's golf team placed 7th overall at the Cougar Fall Classic event, turning in a two-round team score of 603 (+35) in the highly competitive 2-day event.

Freshman Peter Slot paced the Cobras with a strong performance, finishing 12th overall at 146 (+4). Close behind, Cal Johnson carded a 148 (+6) to secure 14th place.

Rounding out Parkland's scoring lineup, Will Seman posted a 152 (+10) to place 29th, while Hudson McIntosh shot a 158 (+16) to finish 48th. Leif Olson (161, +19) came in 61st, and Oscar Jarl (163, +21) finished 69th to complete the Cobra contingent.

Head Coach Nick Berger said after the event, "We haven't started the fall season how we would like, but everything we are doing is to help us prepare for conference, regional, and hopefully nationals."

The Cougar Fall Classic gave Parkland another opportunity to measure itself against strong regional opponents as the Cobras continue to build momentum through the fall slate.

Up next, the Cobras will travel to Allendale, Michigan to compete in the Folds of Honor Challenge on September 15th at the Meadows Golf Club.
