Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — September 13, 2025 — Parkland College women's soccer dropped its road match on Saturday, falling 0-8 to Lincoln Land Community College.
The Loggers jumped out to an early lead, scoring four times in the first half and adding another four goals in the second. Despite the tough outing, the Cobras generated offensive opportunities, finishing with seven shots on goal. Freshmen Ava Jansen and Celia Barkley led Parkland with two shots each, putting both of their attempts on frame. Freshmen Alyssa Wells, Selah Wheeler, and Thais Rodriguez also registered shots on goal.
Goalkeeper Grace Larson and the Parkland back line faced steady pressure throughout the match, battling against a potent Lincoln Land attack.
With the loss, Parkland moves to 1-2 on the season. The Cobras will look to regroup and bounce back in their next contest on September 16th against Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, Illinois.
