GODFREY, Ill.—January 19, 2026— The No. 9-ranked Parkland College women's basketball team delivered a dominant performance on Monday afternoon, defeating Lewis & Clark Community College 95–42. With the victory, the Cobras move to 14–4 on the season.
Parkland controlled the game from start to finish, using pace, pressure, and balanced scoring to build a commanding lead while holding Lewis & Clark to 42 points. The Cobras finished the afternoon with five players in double figures, showcasing depth and efficiency on both ends of the floor.
Siarah Brown led all scorers with 23 points, while Trinity Harden followed with 17 points. Sofia Perez added 15 points, and Chineyenwa Ibekwe chipped in 12 points off the bench.
Leigha Brown recorded a near double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds, while Stacie Vonderheide contributed 6 points and 9 rebounds, anchoring Parkland's effort on the glass.
Parkland returns home for a marquee matchup, hosting No. 2 Lincoln Land Community College on January 21 at the Dodds Athletic Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 PM CST.
