CENTRALIA, Ill.—January 3, 2026— The No. 12-ranked Parkland College women's basketball team returned from winter break in impressive fashion on Saturday, earning a decisive 91–57 victory over Kaskaskia College.

Parkland controlled the game from start to finish, using balanced scoring, consistent defensive pressure, and strong execution on both ends of the floor to pull away early and maintain control throughout the contest. The Cobras pushed the tempo offensively while limiting Kaskaskia's scoring opportunities, building a comfortable margin as the game progressed.

With the win, Parkland improves to 9–4 on the season as it prepares to enter a challenging stretch of conference and nationally ranked matchups.

This week, the Cobras will head back on the road to face No. 3 Illinois Central College on January 7 in East Peoria, Illinois.
