CHAMPAIGN, Ill.—February 18, 2026— The No. 8 Parkland College women's basketball team delivered one of its most dominant performances of the season Wednesday evening, defeating Lewis & Clark Community College 108–47.
The Cobras wasted no time setting the tone, erupting for 32 first-quarter points and following with 31 in the second to build a commanding 63-27 halftime lead. Parkland never looked back, outscoring Lewis & Clark in every quarter.
Parkland's offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting 59.2 percent (45-76) from the field and an even 50 percent (12-24) from three-point range. The Cobras also distributed the ball exceptionally well, finishing with 32 assists on 45 made field goals.
Five players reached double figures in a balanced scoring attack.
Trinity Harden led the way with 21 points off the bench, shooting 9-of-14 from the field and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc while adding 9 rebounds. Siarah Brown poured in 18 points, connecting on 4 three-pointers. Stacie Vonderheide added 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, recording a double-double.
Yohangeli Guzman tallied 10 points and dished out a team-high 8 assists, while Sofia Perez also contributed 10 points and 5 assists.
The Cobras controlled the glass, outrebounding Lewis & Clark 42-25 and forcing consistent pressure throughout the game.
With the win, Parkland improves to 22-5 on the season.
Up next, the Cobras will travel to Springfield, Illinois on February 25 to take on No. 9 Lincoln Land Community College. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 PM CST.
