SPRINGFIELD, Ill.—February 25, 2026— The No. 12 The No. 12 Parkland College men's basketball team earned a hard-fought 78-69 road win over Lincoln Land Community College on Wednesday night, improving to 22-6 on the season.
The Cobras set the tone early, taking a 46-39 lead into halftime before controlling the pace down the stretch to close out the nine-point victory. Parkland shot 43.5% (27-62) from the field and knocked down 10 three-pointers while limiting costly mistakes to just 7 turnovers.
Chris Bush led the way with 20 points on an efficient 7-of-11 shooting, including 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. Jaiden Martin added 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Grant Chamberlain finished with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Kodhi McStraw contributed 10 points as five Cobras reached double figures.
Parkland's depth again proved valuable. De'Shaun Tolever chipped in 5 points and 7 rebounds off the bench, while Trey Welter added 3 points and 3 boards. The Cobras controlled the glass, outrebounding Lincoln Land 34-33, and shot 77.8% (14-18) from the free throw line.
With the win, Parkland improves to 22-6 overall and continues to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
Up next, the Cobras will travel to Quincy, Illinois on February 28 to take on John Wood Community College. Tip off is scheduled for 3 PM CST.
