SENATOBIA, Miss.—March 5, 2026— The Parkland College baseball team opened its Mississippi road trip Thursday afternoon with a 9-13 loss to Northwest Mississippi Community College. With the loss, the Cobras move to 5-7 on the season. 

The Cobras battled throughout the contest and kept pace offensively in a high-scoring matchup but were unable to overcome a late surge by Northwest Mississippi.

Despite the result, the Cobras continued to demonstrate offensive potential while competing against another tough opponent on the road.

Up next, Parkland will continue its Mississippi tour with a doubleheader against Copiah-Lincoln Community College on March 6.
