Brooklyn Robbins
Brooklyn starred as a setter for the Cobra’s volleyball team during 2005 and 2006, where she was named a two-time NJCAA All-American. Robbins led the Cobras to back-to-back conference titles, and was named Freshman of the Year in 2005 and Player of the Year in 2016. In each of her two seasons at Parkland, she ranked in the top 10 in the NJCAA in assists, sets, and aces per set. Brooklyn completed her career at SIU-Carbondale where she was a two-year starter at setter and played for the fellow PC Hall of Fame inductee Brenda Winkeler. At SIU, she was voted team MVP in 2007 and earned Missouri Valley Conference honors in 2008. She also starred in the classroom as she was on the Dean’s list both years while persuing her degree in education.
Brooklyn is in her first year of teaching health and physical education at Calvary Academy in Springfield, Illinois. She serves as the head coach for volleyball and assistant coach for girls’ basketball as Calvary, as well as coaching club volleyball.
