Kylie Cavanah
Kylie played on the 2008 and 2009 Parkland volleyball teams.  She  was  a  1st  Team  Academic  All  American,  MWAC  All Conference  Player  of  the  Year,  and  Region  24  Player  of  theYear  in  2008.  She  was  named  to  the  NJCAA   National Tournament  All  Tournament  Team  in  2008  and  was  an NJCAA 1st Team All American and AVCA 1st Team All American  in  2008  before  being  named  Parkland  College  Female Athlete  of  the  Year  in  2009.  Kylie  went  on  to  play  Division  1 volleyball for Eastern Illinois University from 2009-2011 where she graduated with a B.S. in Biological Sciences with Honors, Cum  Laude.  She  then  earned  her  BSN  in  December  2013 from  Saint  Francis  College  of  Nursing,  Summa  Cum  Laude.  Cavanah was the recipient of the Nursing Excellence Award in 2013 and is currently an R.N. in the NICU in the Children’s Hospital  of  Illinois  at  Saint  Francis  Medical  Center  in  Peoria.
She is ECMO certified, a Charge Nurse and part of the NICU Life  Flight  Transport  Team.  Kylie  plans  to  graduate  with  her Master’s degree from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in May 2019 as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
