Eric Xidis
Eric played for the Parkland College baseball team in 2000 and 2001. In 2001 he was named All Conference Pitcher of the Year and earned All Region and All American honors. Xidis still holds the single season win record with a 13-1 record, and led the 2001 team to the NJCAA World Series for the first time in Parkland history. Eric received a full baseball scholarship to the University of Illinois, Chicago and helped advance his 2002 team to the NCAA Baseball Tournament. He and his UIC teammates have since been inducted into the UIC Hall of Fame. Eric earned his B.S. in Kinesiology in 2003 and currently works in the Digital Advertising and Marketing Industry. Eric regularly volunteers with the Grand Kids Foundation assisting with youth baseball clinics.
