Zach Skidmore
Zach  was  a  member  of  the  2006  and  2007  Cobra  baseball teams.  As  a  freshman,  he  led  the  team  in  both  hits  and batting average, was named 1st Team All American, Mid-West Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year in 2006. Skidmore’s sophomore year, he was named as
a  preseason  All  American,  led  the  team  in  all  offensive categories,  and  led  the  nation  in  hits  and  RBI’s.  He  was  a 1st  Team  All  American,  1st  Team  All  Region,  1st  Team  All Conference,  and  was  Parkland’s  Male  Athlete  of  the  Year.  He  went  on  to  play  for  Eastern  Illinois  University  as  the starting  third  baseman  where  his  team  won  the  2008  OVC Tournament title. Zach earned his B.S. in Sport Management and Finance and currently lives with his fiancé and daughter.
