Leslie Burnside
Leslie was on the Cobra volleyball team in 1994 and 1995 and held records within the top 5 for kill/dig/block categories as well as several all-tournament teams. After graduating from Parkland in 1996, she transferred to Middle Tennessee State University where she finished her volleyball career and started playing competitive rugby. Leslie became the first woman to score a “try” and be named to the Mid-South Select Side team. She is married and recently relocated to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she works for the Early Autism Project of Horry County and is a Para-Professional for the North Myrtle Beach Middle School. She also does personal training and fitness classes on the side. She and her husband have three children.
