Holly Nichols
Holly was a member of the softball 1st Team All-American in 2007 at Parkland. She hit .389 with 4 home runs and 52 RBI her sophomore season and led the team in runs scored with 81. She helped her team to a two-year record of 95-25. While at   Parkland, Holly was a Distinguished Academic All American in 2007 and Parkland Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2007.   After Parkland, she transferred to University of Missouri-St.  Louis  and  was  a  member  of  the  softball  team
that  won  the  Great  Lakes  Valley  Conference  and  earned  a spot at the NCAA regionals for the first time in over 20 years.  She  continued  her  education  at  Eastern  Illinois  University, receiving the E. Warner/S. Rives Higher Education Award and the  Old  Main  Memorial  Scholarship,  earning  a  Master  of
Science degree in 2014. Recently Holly was Assistant Director of Academic Services in the Athletics Department at Eastern.  Currently,  Holly  is  an  Academic  Advisor  at  the  College  of Media, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
