Derek Drage
Derek played Baseball at Parkland in 2002 and 2003. He was a member of the 2002 World Series National Champion team– which was the first World Series title for the Cobra’s - and a member  of  the  2003  World  Series  4th  place  team.  He  was also  Parkland’s  first  two-time  1st  Team  All-American,  2003 Conference Male athlete of the year, and was a career leader in wins (20) and top three in career-earned run average and strikeouts. After Parkland, Derek played one season at Missouri State   University   in   2004   before   being   drafted   by   the Pittsburgh  Pirates  in  2004.  He  retired  from  professional baseball in 2012.
